- I have done this. There were three difficulties:

- * The cables for 3.5" and 2.5 drives are different. You'll need a cable
- with two 2.5" connectors and one 3.5" connector. I couldn't find such
- a beast, so I ended up soldering two cables of different types
- together, which took me two hours.

- first connector when trying to fit it onto the cable. My advice is not
- to mess with 2.5" cables unless you have tools and know what you are
- doing.

- So it's certainly possible, but requires some work. Perhaps it's better
- that you sell the 2.5" drive and buy a larger 3.5" drive.
